Exploring with purpose
A good way to start with exploratory testing is called “Session-Based Testing” or “Session- Based Test Management”. 1. Set a focus up front (sometimes called a “charter”) 2. Set a timebox (or a time limit)
Exploratory testing needs accountability
During the testing, testers keep notes for themselves. After the testing, they generate a session report. After sharing their report(s), there will be some kind of debriefing process
