Agenda points and minutes:
Invocation- Sahana Vavatu
Shalini introduced how based on everyone’s feedback, we are considering two formats-
1. Monthly meets of all CEP grads- Flexible, Run by volunteers, people attend whenever they are able to attend, No membership fees.
2. Structured monthly meets- groups of 12 people whose businesses have been audited and approved, meetings are mandatory with some flexibility, needs a team to oversee and run it, involves admin and operational costs thus membership fees.
Everyone introduced themselves
Shalini shared the informal format of monthly CEP grads meet
3 volunteers from the core team pick date, time and venue Eg. It could be a breakfast meet on a Sunday
A poll is put on the CEP grads group with details of the meet
Volunteers manage booking the space and coordinating with attendees
Could have a topic of the day- general org level challenges, or could be an SME talk
Expenses divided between all attendees- volunteers assess beforehand and share when sharing the poll
The group filled the Samvaad form. Challenges of few members were discussed to give everyone the taste of a structured in-person Samvaad
Structured format of Samvaad for CEP grads meet was shared
The core team (members present today) act as Captains and Co-Captains of teams
The co-captain would be playing the role for 6 months and then would take over the role of a captain- so every member would be the captain/co-captain for a period of 1 year
Teams of 12 formed- grouped by location and inputs from Coaches and Mentors
Captains and Co-Captains would be given the list of members. They have to connect with them, visit their business premises, follow the process to assess if they are trustworthy members whose values align with values of LCE members or not. Process for assessment to be defined.
Each Success team meets monthly in-person from 11-5pm at the business premise of one of the members
They follow the format specified by SKC- Complete forms prior to the session, discuss one goal and one challenge that each person has prioritized for the month, people with first hand experience of solving the challenge share their input and experiences. People keep discussions to the point. Detailed discussions to be done in 1:1 meetings. Meetings should be scheduled and calendarized before the end of the Samvaad.
Personal challenge of the month and personal attitude/habit to be prioritized for the month to be added to the form
Goal and challenge could be business related or personal
Session format- challenge discussion, lunch, 2 hour session
2 hours could be for SME talks, Case Study sharings by group member, 1:1s, GAP/self-work to plan out the month
Session ends with meditation
Post session the group can go out for coffee, dinner etc as feasible
In this format, LCE would need to be self-sustainable. Which puts cost of membership at about Rs. 1 lakh per person for the first year.
Lunch break
After hearing both options, some members proposed a hybrid model
Monthly online sessions, early morning, shorter duration
Quarterly meet for broader community engagement with the alumni body, community building and physical connect
Guests are allowed in Samvaad and Samarth- max 2 Samvaads for each guest
We discussed the possibility of two levels of memberships- those who want to attend CEP refreshers and Samarth and those who want to attend Success Group meets
The fee of Rs 1 lakh per month for the 1st year and Rs 50,000 from year 2 were proposed for the structured format. 4 members expressed that this was too much. About 8 members expressed that they would be willing to pay the fees.
Some members expressed challenges with prioritizing 1 day a month for in-person day long Samvaads and suggested shorter, online sessions
Some expressed challenges in commuting within the city or from outstation for the monthly Samvaad and suggested that in-person meets should be infrequent.
Some expressed that if the goal is to build a conscious enterprise then prioritizing 1 day a month may be the minimum required
It was proposed to do a Samarth for CEP grads to announce the new format and get people enrolled into LCE to gauge the true interest
A decision was taken to start monthly Samvaads with the core team members- date proposed September 14th- Venue- Paul’s business premises- Time: proposed 8am to 12pm

Next Steps:
Calendars to be blocked for September 14th Samvaad at Paul’s office- MG
Samarth date to be decided- Shalini and MG
