GooCampus in collaboration with Emergency Response Training Solutions (ERTS)
Accredited by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC)
Valid for 4 years

Hello doctor,
This is a form to express your interest to register for the 2-day certification ALS course brought to you by the team at Emergency Response Training Solutions (ERTS). This program is accredited by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), ensuring that certified instructors will guide and support you in the learning process.
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification tends to be desired or mandatory in many job applications and is essential to have as your career progresses in the NHS.
The ALS course teaches the knowledge and skills required to:
recognise and treat the deteriorating patient using a structured ABCDE approach;
deliver standardised CPR in adults;
manage a cardiac arrest by working with a multidisciplinary team in an emergency situation;
utilise non-technical skills to facilitate strong team leadership and effective team membership.

What am I being assessed on?

Throughout the course you will be silently assessed on
Your airway management skills
Your ability to give high-quality CPR
Your ability to perform safe defibrillation
These things must first be satisfactory to the instructors before you’ll be allowed to proceed to the post-course MCQ and CASTest.

About this course

The European Resuscitation Council (ERC) has developed its Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider course, based on ERC guidelines. It is a standardised European course teaching evidence-based resuscitation guidelines and skills to healthcare professionals.
The ALS course provides a standardised approach to cardiopulmonary resuscitation in adults. The ALS course aims to train candidates to identify the causes of cardiac arrest, recognise patients in danger of deterioration, and manage both the cardiac arrest and the 'peri-arrest' problems encountered in the first hour or so after initial resuscitation from a cardiac arrest.
