Lan Na - a medieval historical state that existed in the north of modern Thailand

monk - a member of a group of religious men who do not marry and usually live together in a monastery

alms - clothing, food, or money that is given to poor people
offering - something that is given to God
lantern - light in a transparent protective case
wax - a solid substance made of fat or oil and used to make candles, polish etc.
wax statue - an image of a person or an animal made of wax
mindfulness - the practice of being aware of your body, mind, and feelings in the present moment, thought to create a feeling of calm
attachment - a feeling of love or strong connection to someone or something
suffering - serious physical or mental pain
relic - a part of the body or something that belonged to a holy person
amulet - a small piece of jewellery worn to protect against bad luck, disease etc.
dragon - a large imaginary animal that has wings and a long tail and can breathe out fire
Garuda - mythical king of birds in Hindu and Buddhist traditions, half-human and half-bird
heaven - the place where God is believed to live and where good people are believed to go when they die
gold leaf - gold in the form of very thin sheets, often used to cover objects, such as decorative details in a building
