piece - a separate or limited portion or quantity of something
carrot - a long pointed orange root eaten as a vegetable
curcuma - Asian spice having yellow color
spice - any of a variety of aromatic vegetable substances, such as ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, used as flavourings
