Interstellar — between the stars in the sky
Science-fiction — a type of book, film, etc. that is based on imagined scientific discoveries of the future, and often deals with space travel and life on other planets
Black hole — an area in space that nothing, not even light, can escape from, because gravity (= the force that pulls objects in space towards each other) is so strong there
Wormhole — a possible connection between regions of space-time that are far apart
Outer space — the area outside the earth’s atmosphere where all the other planets and stars are
Galaxy — any of the large systems of stars, etc. in outer space
Dimension — one of three Cartesian coordinates that determine the position in space
Physics — the scientific study of matter and energy and the relationships between them, including the study of forces, heat, light, sound, electricity and the structure of atoms
Astrophysics — the scientific study of the physical and chemical structure of the stars, planets, etc.
