Cooking "Chai Massala" with Monty: Indian tea cooking workshop

1 cup- 250 ml

INGREDIENTS
1 cup water
1 cup whole milk
1 inch cinnamon stick
2 tea bags of black tea
2 green cardamom pods, crushed
2 cloves
5 black peppercorn seeds
1 tbsp ginger root, crushed or pinch of powder
sugar (optional)

WHAT TO DO BEFORE THE CLASS BEGINS
Keep all other ingredients ready as per above list

TOOLS
1 x sauce pan
1 x strainer
1 x spoon

NOTES
Spices: pinch of ground spices can be used instead of whole spices
Milk: whole milk is recommended
Tea: you can use Assam/Darjeeling black tea
