Loc8 is searching for a resourceful and user-obsessed Junior Product Manager to help shape our early product and make cities more navigable, livable, and inclusive.

What You’ll Do
User Discovery & Research
Conduct user interviews and surveys with target users (students, small business owners, agents) Synthesize feedback to identify patterns, pain points, and opportunity areas Help build and validate user personas Feature Planning & Prioritization
Translate insights into product specs and feature ideas Maintain the product backlog and help prioritize tasks with engineering Collaborate on wireframes and low-fidelity mockups with design team Product Execution & QA
Support sprint planning, stand-ups, and retros with the tech team Write user stories, test cases, and help ensure feature completeness Lead light-weight QA testing before releases Stakeholder Communication
Share progress updates with internal and external collaborators Gather feedback from real estate agents, local officials, and beta testers Help prepare demos and product documentation for launches or grant reports Growth & Platform Support
Assist in onboarding new users and gathering product usage analytics Monitor feedback loops and help iterate based on live user behavior Support community campaigns to encourage neighborhood data contributions Who You Are

Familiarity with tools like Notion, Figma, Airtable, or Jira Basic comfort with user analytics (Mixpanel, GA4, Hotjar, etc.) Interest in urban planning, community mapping, or civic tech Bonus if you’ve worked on products targeting emerging markets Experience & Background
1–2 years in product, design, research, or startup operations (internships count) Experience working on or around digital products Strong writing and communication skills — clear enough to spec, sharp enough to pitch Tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools fast What Makes This Role Special
