In order to get the certificate, you will need to submit all the different elements of the Personal Brand Identity OR Imaginary / Real Client Projects.

When to Submit Your Final Projects

You can ONLY submit both of your projects when you have all the elements complete.

Picking Your Projects

It’s time to select your projects - the Project 1 is mostly self explanatory but Project 2 will require a bit of reflection - but more than anything, if you feel stuck picking a project or can’t find a client, just go with any of the ones we suggested. We created these options to make your life easier and get you into action.

Project 1: Your personal brand identity

Everyone can use a clear personal brand identity they can use on their websites and social media accounts.
Use yourself and your business to apply the process in the course.

Project 2: Imaginary / Real Client Project

Choose one of the following briefs to work with or create your own.
Pick the one you think you’ll have most fun working on and that potentially can be a good fit on your portfolio.
You’re welcome to adjust / change some of the details of the brief (like business name, or product differentiation) to fit your personal preferences.
Please note that if your client project is in a language different from English, we will need an English translation of the texts in order to provide you with valuable feedback.
Option 1: Pizza Restaurant
Business Name: Rico’s
Location: Your home town
Business Story: Rico was inspired after a trip to Naples by the unique tradition of , and wanted to bring this experience to his hometown which is full of fast food chains of low quality pizza.
Customers: Rico wants to provide a special experience and so targeting a more affluent customers who are more “foodie” and care about eating good & healthy food.
Option 2: Tech Company
Business Name: FastSwipe
Location: Globally, but most customers are in India & Africa
Business Story: Mark & Jack met while working for AirBNB, and discovered that many small business who don’t have bank accounts still have a hard time accepting credit cards. They developed a service that allows business to swipe regular credit cards and transfer the funds into a blockchain wallet.
Customers: Independent small business owners who don’t have access to banking.
Option 3: Non-Profit
Business Name: Candid
Location: USA
Business Story: Sarah started working on Candid in 2020 after seeing the difficulties of talking about Racism in the US. The goal of the organization is to host meetups where people from different backgrounds can meet and share experiences in a non offensive and blaming way. They are considering hosting a big event next year.
Customers: Americans from different backgrounds who are open to learning more about race issues in the United States.

How to Submit:

1. Duplicate the for each project:


The Figma file will allow you to easily structure and centralize all the information necessary for each project, while making it easier for us to evaluate it - this said, feel free to modify and add more elements or pages if they’re part of your design process.

2. Add the different elements of your project into the template as you go and submit each element (assignment) separately in the using in the Mentoring space.


3. Once you’ve completed all the elements (assignments) in the Figma template, and receive feedback. You’re now ready to submit each final project using the form below.

We require all submissions to be done via a Figma link.
You don’t have to design in Figma, you can copy/paste the different elements into Figma or import/convert your Adobe XD or Sketch file into Figma.
