Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Overview
Solar Bill Busters is seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. As an SDR, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to book 15-minute triages on the calendar for our Sales Development Specialists (SDSs) to qualify the opportunity and then book appointments with our solar consultants. You will be dialling 400+ numbers per day, with the goal of scheduling as many appointments as possible.
Responsibilities
Making outbound calls to prospective customers to schedule triages on the calendar.
Providing product information and qualifying leads
Updating our CRM system with accurate information
Achieving daily/weekly/monthly appointment goals
Working closely with the Sales Development Specialists and Business Development Managers to ensure successful lead handoff
Requirements:
Previous experience in a high-volume outbound calling environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with CRM software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and driven to achieve daily/weekly/monthly appointment goals
Career Progression
Junior SDR: Entry-level position responsible for lead generation and qualification through cold calling, email outreach, and other prospecting methods.
KPIs:
300 outbound calls per day
6 booked Triages per day
3 sales per week
Proposed tenure: 4-8 weeks.
Associate SDR: Associate SDRs are able to achieve higher outbound calls and booked triage numbers.
KPIs:
400 outbound calls per day
8 booked Triages per day
4 sales per week
Proposed tenure: 2-4 months
SDR: Mid-level SDR responsible for managing and converting larger, more complex leads, as well as following up on No Shows and Cancellations to rebook.
KPIs:
500 outbound calls per day
10 booked Triages per day
5 sales per week
Proposed tenure: 2-4 months.
Senior SDR: Experienced SDR responsible for generating the most opportunities and able to complete triage calls when required
KPIs:
600 outbound calls per day
12 booked Triages per day
6 sales per week
Proposed tenure: 2-4 months.
Sales Development Specialist (SDS)
Overview
The Sales Development Specialist (SDS) is responsible for completing 15-minute calls to qualify leads generated by the SDRs and book appointments with our Business Development Managers (BDM). Additionally, the SDS will be responsible for some outbound calls in their free time.
Responsibilities
Qualifying leads and booking appointments with solar consultants
Providing product information and answering customer questions
Updating our CRM system with accurate information
Making outbound calls in free time to generate additional leads
Requirements
Previous experience in a high-volume outbound calling environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with CRM software

Self-motivated and driven to achieve daily/weekly/monthly appointment goals.

Associate SDS: Experienced SDS responsible for qualifying leads generated by SDRs or Junior SDSs and booking consultations with BDMs.

60% conversion rate from completed triage to consultation
60% show-up rate for consultations

Proposed tenure: 12-24 months.
SDS: Mid-level SDS responsible for managing a high volume of residential leads and appointments.

7 Consultations booked per day
7 sales per week
400 outbound calls OR 4 hours phone time per day
70% conversion rate from completed triage to consultation
70% show-up rate for consultations
$70,000 revenue generated per month
Proposed tenure: 24-36 months.
Senior SDS: Experienced SDS responsible for generating and closing high-value residential deals.

8 Consultations booked per day
8 sales per week
500+ outbound calls OR 4.5+ hours phone time per day
80% conversion rate from completed triage to consultation
85%+ show-up rate for consultations
$100,000 revenue generated per month
