DOTW - Grilled Cheese Toasties

This week, we’ll be re-visiting both Grilled Cheese Toasties for DOTW. It’s been a tough start for our toasties with Ham & Cheese at the bottom of the FIB rankings in P2. The new sandwich plates will have helped with VFM perception and a number of positive comments from recent MD visits gives us confidence that we can turn this around.
In addition to the attached summary and RC, I’ve highlighted a few key focuses below
Prepped Cheese Toasties – prepping ahead of service allows us to focus on cheese portion and simplifies service
Butter the outside of each piece of bread - without it, we can’t achieve an indulgent toastie
Grill Settings – should be set to the correct temperature (200C for maestrowave) – if they’re too hot the bread will burn.
Cook Time amendment – the attached RC, video and grill settings have been adjusted to 6-7 mins (3/3.5 mins per side) to allow more time for a golden brown toastie on both sides
