Quality Research Made Cheaper with AI

Are you tired of spending hours on research? Hi! My name is Ben, and I’m a software engineer and freelance entrepreneur who specializes in automating research with AI to save you time and money. “Moko” is the Lithuanian word for teach, and so my goal is to help you research better so you can share or “teach” that research better to your customers and clients.
In today’s age, being able to successfully find the information you need from the internet is becoming more and more important. Through the internet, the knowledge of the entire world is at our fingertips, and yet, as good as Google is, it still takes forever to find the information we want.
Recent advances in AI are allowing for incredible changes in how we access information. Some companies like are arguably already providing services better than Google. However, these generic AI research services can only go so far. The more generic a service is, the higher chance of hallucinations and low quality outputs it has. This is often a barrier to many companies since they need to maintain high quality standards for the research they do. By focusing on your specific use case, I can help maintain the high-quality standards typically associated with manual research. Or in especially complicated areas, I can create tools that augment your current research efforts and 10x your researcher’s productivity while keeping the same quality standards.
Previous projects have seen a cost-effective 2-100x speed up in research done compared to manual work. Contact me at and let’s chat about your use case!

I Create Custom Research Tools!

Here is how it works...

Decide what needs to be researched: Determine what you want researched and the typical steps involved. Also determine a price per research session that ensures my services are more cost-effective than doing it on your own.
Get free consultation and free development: Contact me at and we can set up a meeting to discuss your project. We will determine the requirements for the project and a 'per-use' or one-time-cost price that suits your budget. I only charge for the use of the tool or the final software package, not for its development. This ensures no risk for you - you only pay for what you use. Once I have a good understanding of the project, I will start development right away!
Start using your custom tool and pay only after there are results: Start using your research tool once it meets your needs! (and only pay when it does 😉)
Development is free so you only pay for what you use.

Political Forecasting Bot

As part of the $30k Metaculus AI Forecasting Bot Competition, I made a forecasting bot to predict geo-political events (or really any other uncertain questions). Try it out for free here . As of the last update the bot is in 3rd place in the competition.

Podcast Searcher

In partnership with The Society Library, I created an AI-Powered Podcast Searcher. It takes in a prompt, decides queries to search with, searches for podcasts, decides which ones are most relevant for the prompt given, then downloads and transcribes the podcast so questions can be asked about the podcast content.

Scholarly Article Citation Crawler

In partnership with The Society Library, I created a Scholarly Article Citation Crawler. This takes in an area of interest, and finds the most cited works in that area ordered by citations/yr. Then it finds all the articles cited by this initial seed set. The crawler can then repeat this process for as many citation levels as you want to go.

Newsletter Sponsor Identification

In partnership with , I made a Newsletter Sponsor Identifier. It can take in a inbox full of newsletters and find the companies that sponsored the newsletter. Results include the company’s website link and LinkedIn profile.

Pro/Con Evidence Searcher

While leading a volunteer team at Colorado School of Mines, I developed a Pro/Con Evidence Searcher that can find an extensive list of pros and cons that cover all sides of an issue. It also cites a large list of quotes from studies, news, and the web supporting each argument. It reduces time taken to research pros, cons, and evidence by 50%-75%, compared to pre-automation research time. This was originally part of an effort to create the “Wikpedia for debatable topics” (see ).

Political Candidate Website, Email, and Social Media Finder

As part of the Fellowship Program with Ballotpedia, I developed a Candidate Profiler that allows you to find the email, campaign website, and social media profiles of political candidates given only a name, state, and office.
