Ray Arceneaux - Founder, BLACK TECH MAFIA

Ray “The Connect” Arceneaux is the founder of Black Tech Mafia (BTM), a nonprofit that mobilizes Black entrepreneurs and creators to use technology—especially AI—to build generational wealth and close the racial wealth gap. He earned a BBA and MBA in finance from Middle Tennessee State University and spent more than 27 years working in real estate, finance and tech before pivoting to software development in 2017 after discovering Robert F. Smith’s work. He later met Smith in 2025 to ask how the Black community can use AI to build wealth.
