Rapper King Von, who was born in 1994 in Chicago, was a gifted storyteller. The late rapper, Dayvon Daquan Bennett (Von) was born and raised in Parkway Gardens, also referred to as O Block, where Lil Durk and Chief Keef, among others, later worked together.
While some of Von's buddies started rapping in their teens, he didn't start until he had proven his innocence in a shooting death case in 2014. He got signed to Durk's record company, Only The Family, after becoming successful as a rapper.
Following the news of his passing in November 6, 2020 at the age of 26, various rappers made shocking comments about King Von.
"King Von Was The Devil, He Wasn't Human," & "There were about 11 bodies on King Von." said King Yella.
