Lindsay Rhein graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and a minor in Theater from Jacksonville State University in 2002. Upon graduation, her love for learning and reading in all the liberal arts led her to accept a job at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute in Wilmington as part of their publications arm, ISI Books. There she met her husband Paul, who continues to work for ISI, and when her oldest son was born, she left the publishing world to begin a career as a mother, homemaker, and home educator.
An active volunteer in her homeschool and church communities, she’s taught Shakespeare, music theory and appreciation, elementary science, drama, and currently directs the Elementary choir for her local hybrid school where her children participate. She regularly serves as a cantor, choir member, and soloist in her parish church and leads the committee responsible for decorating her parish community of three churches for the liturgical year.
Lindsay has homeschooled her five boys and two girls exclusively and has a special love for the educational philosophies of Charlotte Mason. She serves on the board for Mater Amabilis, a free Catholic Charlotte Mason curriculum, and loves introducing children and families to all the good, true, and beautiful things in God’s creation.
