Honest communication with our children

Responsive - reacting with interest or enthusiasm.
Compassion - a strong feeling of sympathy for people or animals who are suffering and a desire to help them.
Empathy - the ability to understand another person’s feelings, experience, etc.
Perception - an idea, a belief or an image you have as a result of how you see or understand something.
Boundary - a real or imagined line that marks the limits or edges of something and separates it from other things or places; a dividing line.
Mutual -
used to describe feelings that two or more people have for each other equally, or actions that affect two or more people equally.
Mindfulness - a mental state achieved by concentrating on the present moment, while calmly accepting the feelings and thoughts that come to you, used as a technique to help you relax.
Involved - giving a lot of time or attention to somebody/something.
