Family relationship

Tight-knit - with all the members having strong, friendly relationships with one another
Nuclear family - a family that consists of father, mother and children, when it is thought of as a unit in society
Extended - long or longer than usual or expected
Relative - a person who is in the same family as somebody else
Sibling - a brother or sister
Argue - to speak angrily to somebody because you disagree with them
Support - to help or encourage somebody/something by saying or showing that you agree with them/it
Run in the family - to be a common feature in a particular family
In-laws - your relatives by marriage, especially the parents of your husband or wife
Through thick and thin - even when there are problems or difficulties
Bond - something that forms a connection between people or groups, such as a feeling of friendship or shared ideas and experiences
Marriage - the legal relationship between two people who are married to each other
Birth - the time when a baby is born; the process of being born
