Being realistic about our expectations

Predict - to say that something will happen in the future
Estimate - to form an idea of the cost, size, value etc. of something, but without calculating it exactly
Manage - to be able to solve your problems, deal with a difficult situation, etc.
Disappointed - ​upset because something you hoped for has not happened or been as good, successful, etc. as you expected
Reality - the true situation and the problems that actually exist in life, in contrast to how you would like life to be
Appreciate - to recognize the good qualities of somebody/something
Compare - to examine people or things to see how they are similar and how they are different
Perfect - the best of its kind
Awareness - knowing something; knowing that something exists and is important
