Character Profiles

1. Robin Hood
Key Traits:
Good and Kindhearted: Known for helping the poor and never taking from women or poor people.
Skilled Fighter: Excellent bowman and proficient with a quarterstaff.
Brave and Determined: Stands up to injustice, even becoming an outlaw to fight the Sheriff.
Natural Leader: Leads over a hundred merry men effectively and earns their loyalty.
Observant: Recognizes Marian’s fighting skill and offers her a place among his men.
Relationships:
Maid Marian: Childhood friend, later husband; shares a deep connection and respect for her strength.
Sheriff of Nottingham: Arch-enemy; the Sheriff killed Robin’s father and took his castle, leading Robin to become an outlaw.
Earl of Huntingdon: His father (deceased).
Merry Men (Will Scarlet, Friar Tuck, others): Their trusted leader and friend; they follow him loyally.
The Poor: Their protector and benefactor; he steals from the rich to help them.
2. Maid Marian

Robin Hood: Childhood friend, later wife; shares a history and strong bond with him.
Lord Fitzwater: Her father.
Merry Men: Joins their group after marrying Robin.
3. Sheriff of Nottingham
Key Traits:
Cruel and Unjust: Killed Robin Hood’s father and seized his castle.
Powerful: Holds significant authority, representing oppressive rule.
Relationships:
Robin Hood: Primary antagonist; the source of Robin’s troubles and his target for justice.
Earl of Huntingdon: His victim.
4. Will Scarlet
Key Traits:
Loyal: A committed member of Robin Hood’s merry men.
Playful/Humorous: Enjoys a friendly joke, especially regarding Friar Tuck.
