A timeline helps us understand events by listing them in the order they happened, from the earliest to the latest, showing their dates and the time between them.
A calendar shows us the months, weeks, and days within a year.
A standard year has 365 days, whereas a leap year, which occurs every four years, has 366 days due to an extra day in February.
In the olden days, people often missed important meetings and functions because no one knew the exact time.
Early humans determined morning, noon, and evening by observing the position of the Sun as it rose in the east, moved overhead at noon, and set in the west.
In the context of telling time, “measure” means to find out the extent, quantity, amount, or degree of time that has passed or is designated.

Today, we primarily use clocks and watches to know the time precisely.
The twelve months of a year are January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December.
