Two vegetables that are roots are carrots and radishes. Two vegetables that are leaves are spinach and cabbage.
Neem is used to cure skin infections because it helps in killing germs. It is also used in toothpastes and soaps.

The tall tree is the tree, and the rose bush is the shrub.
The pumpkin on the ground with its spreading vine is the creeper.
Two food items shown in the basket that we get from plants are the apple and tea leaves.
We usually get the smallest, soft-stemmed plants from the herb category.

Section F: Long Answer Questions (10 Marks)

We use various parts of different plants as vegetables. For instance, we eat the roots of plants like carrots and radishes. The leaves of plants such as spinach and cabbage are also commonly consumed as vegetables. Additionally, we eat the stems of some plants, like potatoes and ginger, which grow underground. Even the flowers of plants, such as broccoli and cauliflower, are eaten as vegetables.
Medicinal plants are highly important because they provide natural remedies used to treat various ailments and promote health. For example, Tulsi leaves are known to help cure common cough and cold. Cloves are effective in providing relief from toothache. Furthermore, Neem is widely used for treating skin infections due to its germ-killing properties and is even found in everyday products like soaps. These plants offer a traditional and natural way to support well-being.

Section G: Environmental Awareness (5 Marks)

To help save trees and paper, I would tell my friend:
Try to use both sides of the paper whenever possible.
Consider reading, sending, and storing documents digitally instead of printing.
Be selective and only print something if it’s absolutely necessary.
