Host Child safety and CSAE Policy

Introduction and Commitment

Host is a social platform specifically designed to facilitate interactions among real-life friends and contacts and assist event discovery. The platform prioritizes privacy and strictly limits interactions to people users already know personally. We are fully committed to protecting children and strictly enforcing a zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). This policy clearly defines our stance against CSAE and outlines the measures we take to prevent harm to minors.

Zero-Tolerance Stance on CSAE

Host has a zero-tolerance stance on any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation. Any content or behavior that harms or exploits minors is strictly forbidden on our platform. Specifically, the following are absolutely prohibited on Host:

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content depicting sexual abuse or exploitation of minors is illegal and will result in immediate removal and reporting to authorities.

Sexual Exploitation or Grooming: Any inappropriate sexual communication or solicitation of minors is strictly forbidden.

Sexualization of Minors: Content that depicts or encourages sexualization of individuals under 18 is prohibited.

Facilitation of Exploitation: Using Host to facilitate any form of sexual exploitation or human trafficking involving minors is strictly prohibited.

Violation of these rules will result in immediate content removal and permanent account termination, and authorities will be promptly informed.

Parental Guidance and Minor Safety Measures

Parental Guidance Encouraged: Users under 18 must involve a parent or guardian during account setup. Host encourages ongoing parental oversight to ensure safe and appropriate usage.

Privacy and Interaction Model

Privacy by Default: All users' profiles and events on Host are private by default. Content shared within the app is visible only to approved friends or contacts from users’ personal phone contacts. Strangers cannot freely access a user's profile or information.

Limited Interaction: Users can only connect with individuals they already know personally. The platform does not provide public search functionalities or user discovery features. Friends are added exclusively through phone contact synchronization, profile sharing links, or QR code scans exchanged in person.

Friend-Only Contact: Communication is strictly limited to confirmed contacts and friends. Minors (and all users) can only receive messages or event invitations from their approved friends or personal phone contacts, eliminating unsolicited contact from strangers.

User Reporting Tools and Response

In-App Reporting: Users can easily report inappropriate content or behavior through built-in tools within the app. Reports related to CSAE are prioritized and handled immediately.
