The stone castle is part of the football field at Tennessee High School. The stone castle is historic because it was built in 1936 during the Great Depression by the Work Progress Administration(W.P.A). The W.P.A was an American new deal agency, employing millions of jobseekers to carry out public works projects, including the construction of roads and public buildings.
The Football at Tennessee High School in Bristol, Tennessee

The football field at Tennessee High School means the world to me. This is because I cheered three out of the four years of my high school experience every Friday. There was not one day that went by that I was not on this field. This is because we had practice on this field if it was pretty outside every day and if it was not pretty we practiced inside of Viking Hall. I wish I could go back and cheer on this field one more time.

Keegan Myers - My friend since 1st grade
Can you tell me what you liked most about Avoce Elementary School and the impact the teachers and your friends had on your life?
Elementary school was very scary and hard at times. However, I like it because that’s where I have met my lifelong friends. Also, some of the best teachers I had were in my elementary years. They made the most impact on my life at such a young age which is very important!
