Single Account Payment

Overview

The Single Account Payment flow allows users to process a payment for a single account by searching for the account number, selecting the pertaining account, entering the payment details, and choosing a payment method.

Step 1: Navigate to the Payment Tab

Log in to the Lab3 BillPay Dashboard.
In the left sidebar menu, click on "Pay" (highlighted in dark gray).
The "Make a Payment" module will open automatically.
You will see the Search Accounts section, where you can enter account details.

Step 2: Search for an Account

In the Search Accounts section:
Under Account Details, enter the Account Number.
Alternatively, select the "No Account #" checkbox if searching by name or contact details.
Click "Search Accounts" (purple button).
The system will display the matching results.

Step 3: Select the Correct Account

From the search results, identify and select the correct Account.
The selected account will appear in the Selected Accounts section.

Step 4: Enter Payment Details

Under Selected Accounts, enter the Amount in the input field.
Select the Encounter Type from the dropdown menu.
Options include:
Co-Payments
Payment on Account
Collections Account Payment
Retail Payment
Click Edit if any details need modification.

Step 5: Choose a Payment Method

In the Payment Details section (right panel), select the Payment Type:
In-Person
Phone
By Mail
Choose the Facility from the dropdown.
Select a Payment Method from the available options.
Choose the Patient Status (mandatory field).

Step 6: Process the Payment

Review all the entered details.
Click the "Process Payments" button to finalize the transaction.
A confirmation message will appear once the payment is successfully processed.
