My stab at how to approach project activity tracking

Where to start…

You know how in Quickbase, you make an app, structure the tables, make the homepage, and then everyone must use that app how it’s configured? Let’s hope we all like it 😂.

Well Coda is a bit different. It anticipated that people may want to view the same data tables in different ways, and that my idea for a home page will be completely different than yours. Don’t like my form? Make your own! So obvious right?

It’s fine if you don’t like how I set things up bc we can each have our very own sections to work in. Just as long as we’re using the same source data

, we’re free to set up our own spaces as we see fit. So make it yours! Customize, organize, track, make your own dashboards. By all means have some fun while you work! 😜

The challenge

Who can come up with the best way to track our time? The best I could do is a manual two click method. Add a task, click start, and click stop. But y’all might think of something better! By all means use my stuff as a starting point (if you want) and see if you can get it down to one click and drag or something simpler!

I’ll be around for questions if we actually choose Coda as our tool. Quickbase works too, and I can implement a lot of the same data structure there to get us started.
