Brand change
Our business is currently undergoing a very moderate brand change -from Vitality HealthyWeight, to HealthyWeight.
This is because we’re running a pilot with the Discovery Medical Scheme, and not all Medical Scheme clients have Vitality, so it’d be quite confusing for them to see “Vitality” in the product name.
Given the time-sensitive nature of this pilot (starting at the end of June) we’re not changing anything else, brand-wise. Our logo, however, contains the Vitality “V” which we need to replace.

Vitality provided us with the following logo. While the idea was there, we feel the execution is poor, hurried, incredibly dated, and doesn’t really evoke excitement at all. (You can tell our sentiment 😂
Specifically, what we don’t like about this is:
Not sure what to point at as the main reason, but this is incredibly 1990s Microsoft vibes. The double shadow at the bottom, and the double border The measuring tap looks like it was drawn on Paint The “HealthyWeight” squished on, which won’t scale well on things like our favicon (I keep referring to this as an example, but it’s probably the most extreme of the sizing we’d have) Proposed new logo that Vitality’s team provided us with

, if this gives you any more context (We are updating this though, to better highlight our value. It’s currently quite bland too, and that’ll change - but still, could help?) We’re keeping this super simple.
Our font: Open Sans - Bold The pink-to-white fade can be included somehow if you like The measuring tape — James likes it, so let’s keep it. If we can please not have “HealthyWeight” in the icon, because it won’t scale well for things like the favicon. It doesn’t have to be the square that the rectangle is around, as you asked in your voice note - you tell us! Dimensions
