Launch! Banting MVP & Maturation

Platform to transmit patient orders and enable fulfillment
May 1 - October 31, 2020
Connecting US patients to Canadian pharmacies decreases the cost of medications for patients, while increasing the revenue for Canadian pharmacies. In this time, Banting is also validating product market fit and establishing initial revenue.
As the MVP matures, more patients make it through the funnel to complete orders. As the network of patients grows we look for an acceleration of organic growth.

Subscription Model: Business Model Maturation

Subscribe to Save
Sep 1, 2020 - Feb 28, 2021
Enable deeper savings through an annualized recurring or subscription model. Improves the value propositions of deeper savings for patients and advance purchase commitments for pharmacies, while increasing patient retention. This is a new type of market behavior; the Banting platform will be upgraded to provide tools for patients and pharmacies to incentivize marketplace competition.

Expand to U.S. Pharmacies

Bring savings to patients with insurance
Dec 1, 2020 - Jan 1, 2022
The US market is the , and most bloated, pharmaceutical market in the world. Expansion in the U.S. market expands our patient segment by incorporating patients with moderate insurance coverage, as well as creating a new value proposition as a service upgrade for local pharmacies.

Expand Product Offerings

Replicate the diabetes and insulin model
Jul 1, 2021 - Jul 1, 2022
Insulin is particularly ripe for disruption, but there are many other disease areas in which we can provide parallel value. We use our learnings and optimizations from insulin and replicate this model across other chronic diseases. This maintains a low cost of medication for all users of our platform, while increasing the number of users and revenue.
