Lead Maturation is an essential process in business development. The goal is to turn a potential client into a paying customer, or an existing customer into a repeat buyer. This happens through the nurturing of the relationship between the customer and the company. Over time, the prospect is expected to progress from one stage to another until they buy.
In these practice exercises, we will take the case of a potential customer who subscribes to the company’s newsletter and is prompted to share useful information with the sales team. The sales team wants to react immediately while the company is still fresh in the client’s mind. To achieve this, we will trigger a workflow using a webhook. This scenario will be activated via an API call from the form tool or the email distribution platform ( For instance, Substack). This scenario will save the prospect’s basic information to the Company’s database and send them an email.
Replying to this email will trigger another workflow via a mailhook. This workflow will use OpenAI’s API to generate content tailored to the potential customer’s needs.
