Game Day Setting

Referees (total of 3 persons)

Stay inside the court as much as possible

Referee needs to be experienced pickleball player and fairly understand the pickleball rules

With court limitations, 2 referees are required to ensure the play continues smoothly

Prefer to have 3 referees to exchange for the whole time

If there is disagreement on the score (like In/Out, any rules), referees have the final say and could have it re-serve again.

Referee may need to “Call Out” if he/she see player step in the court where the ball did not bounce yet (volley).

Referee will remind players to start the game (can do some warm up for maximum of 2 minutes)

Score keepers (total of 2 persons)

minimum 2 persons - one from RHCCC and one from MCBC

full time outside the court

Announce who next and get persons ready to play (Door keeper to find the player)

Keep the score into score sheet

Game & Door keepers / monitors (total of 2 persons)

minimum 2 persons - one from RHCCC and one from MCBC

may need 1 person on the other side of the court (near washroom) to have people leaving from there as the court will be rotated after the game finishes.

stay outside the court and find the next game players ready to play

Match Fee

$5 match fee for snack and prize

Other Notes

Please make sure Player Paddle with name label (full name and not initials).

Please wear indoor court shoe and appropriate protective eye wear etc. if desired
