How do I submit a product feature request?
meez will be using the JiraService desk for Ideas! portal to collect feature requests. This includes suggestions from both internal meez team members as well as meez customers.
Note that this portal is not intended to receive support requests or provide customer assistance. Support requests should follow the regular support process.
There are several ways to send feedback to the Ideas! portal (see below), however the preferred method is to visit the and add the request directly. Additional information is captured in the portal that will assist the Product team in prioritizing the idea. Customers should also be directed to do the same because the submitter will be automatically notified as the submission progresses through the product process. He/she can also search for, and vote on, submissions that are relevant to them. Voting helps elevate ideas in the product backlog. (the more votes a submission has, the higher it typically moves in priority.)
Email an Idea
You can send an email, or forward any email that contains a product idea to the ideas portal. A member of the Product team will review the submission and consider it for a future product release. To submit an idea via email, simply send your thought(s) to Manually enter a request via the public portal
As mentioned previously, this is the preferred method for submitting a request. By submitting an idea via the portal:
Submissions can contain far more text and include text formatting as well as images, videos, and other documents to create a better understanding of the idea. Users will be prompted to enter additional information such as value to their business or the problem that the idea is solving. (which helps Product triage the submissions based on value/impact.) Search functionality is available. A customer should first search to see if an idea has already been submitted and if so, he/she may vote on the existing idea. This has several benefits: It eliminates duplication and clutter in the ideas portal. Submissions with a higher vote count typically carry more weight when prioritizing the product backlog. Users can add comments to an existing idea to further support the original submission. In the same manner that a submitter will be automatically notified as an idea progresses through development, so too will a voter/watcher be notified. Note that submissions made from anyone on the getmeez.com domain, that is all meez team members, will not be publicly visible unless Product sets the view to public on the idea.
Also note that submissions made by customers will not immediately be visible on the portal. To eliminate spam, bogus submissions, and malicious code, a member of the Product team will first review the submission to confirm it’s legitimacy. If it passes inspection, it will become visible on the portal for all customers to view and vote on.
To submit, view, and vote for an idea, each customer must create an account. This is simply their email address and name. This is done to prevent fake submissions, allows the Product team to reach out the submitter for additional information if required, and will provide automatic notifications to the customer as their idea is reviewed and moves through the development process.
