Spring 2024 Software Development Internship

We’re looking forward to welcoming our inaugural intern in the Spring of 2024!

Stop here if you don’t like painting on blank canvases and with broad strokes — at least figuratively, not literally, though if you actually like painting... I know some muralists and happy to coordinate a fun team-building mural party!

While collaboration & community are core to Gather both internally & externally, we’re looking for a self-starter who, when given a broadly-defined task or general product ownership area, effectively evaluates different potential solutions, asks good questions, isn’t afraid to make technology decisions, and who communicates effectively — someone with a “I’ll figure it out”, “ask for forgiveness, not for permission” mindsets.

We think what we’re working on at Gather is really exciting & are thrilled to begin inviting in other collaborators — and we’d like to give you the opportunity to show us how you work & make sure we’re a good fit for each other.

We think traditional coding interviews are a productive way to gauge technical aptitude and have found coding projects to be a more fun, effective, and engaging alternative.
