I highly recommend 1. it’s brethe thru so you have ZERO SIDS paranoia if your baby likes to tummy sleep. or like at all, I was sooooo worried with True I wish I had this when he was a new born 2. you dont need a waterproof cover because you can just hose down the whole mattress.
Both our boys have this mattress and i love it. I got mine on ebay for 20-40% off
