This Week’s Bible Story

Let the Little Children Come to Me (Mark 10) The gospel is for everyone in the world. Because everyone in the world is small, helpless, and weak compared to God. No one can live with God forever until they realize they are as weak and helpless as toddlers. That’s how God wants us to come to him. And when we do, he will take us in his arms and bless us.
Memory Verse: “I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” MARK 10:15

Debrief
9:30 - 9:40
11:30 - 11:40

Even though Jesus is a glorious king, what is surprising about how he lived on earth and whom he spent time around?
Are little children welcome in God’s kingdom?
What does it mean that the kingdom of God belongs to little children?

Prayer Time
9:40 - 9:45
11:40 - 11:45

Close your small group time by praying with your kids. This week’s prayer focus is on PLEASE PRAYERS. Ask the kids in your group, “Where in your life do you need God’s help?” Take time to pray for each of the things that were shared.

Activity
9:40 - 9:45
11:40 - 11:45

Give kids the two pieces of paper for the headband, and instruct them to cut along the dotted line. Encourage them to color it in. Then have them tape them together to make one long strip.
