Nehemiah and Ezra (Nehemiah 1-4) Nehemiah knew it would take a lot of work to rebuild the walls. But he also knew that God would help them. We can also know that God will help us when we choose to follow and obey Him.

Prayer

Close your small group time by praying with your kids. This week’s prayer focus will include a PRAYER OF BLESSING. Look up Numbers 6:24-26 and pray it over the kids in your group: “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

11:35 - 11:50
Invite the kids to take a seat at the table to work on this week’s craft. Supplies will be provided, as well as an example of the craft. Pass out snacks as kids are working on their craft.
CRAFT: Give each child one of the activity sheets. Instruct them to glue on the small marshmallows along the line to “rebuild the wall” just like Nehemiah.
