Speaker testimonials

Jenny brought incredible clarity to the often-overlooked world of Product Operations during our Rocketship.FM interview. What stood out most was her ability to break down complex operational concepts into practical, actionable concepts that any product team could implement immediately. Her approach to explaining the four pillars of product ops was particularly compelling—she didn't just talk theory, but provided real-world examples that made the concepts stick. As not just a podcast host but a curious product person myself, I walked away with a completely new appreciation for how product ops can transform team efficiency and focus, and I know our listeners did too.

Women in Product Chicago Chapter - had the pleasure of hosting Jenny’s session, "Bringing Shadow Product Operations Into the Light – Recognizing Hidden Contributions."
“It was such a refreshing and real session. What made it stand out? It wasn’t just theory — it was relatable, hands‑on, and helped us reflect on the work we’re doing every day (and not getting credit for). The audit exercise pulled back the curtain in the best way.
Jenny’s facilitation style was relaxed, thoughtful, and super engaging — felt more like a conversation than a presentation, which made it easy to open up and learn from each other. Walked away feeling seen, empowered, and excited to put words (and metrics!) to the work we do.”

About Me

As a product operations advisor and consultant, I specialize in helping product teams become more productive, cohesive, and customer-focused. My approach is rooted in over a decade of hands-on experience across various companies, from fast-paced startups to large enterprises and impactful nonprofits.
My approach is rooted in building out a strategy for how to transform the way your product team ships products. It’s not about bringing processes and tools in, but rather about creating a product culture that will help product managers thrive.
During the pandemic, I co-founded the TCN Coalition, addressing the urgent need for open-source exposure notification tools. This experience, along with my leadership role at Linux Foundation Public Health, honed my skills in building strong communities and fostering customer-centric cultures – skills I now use to benefit teams like yours.
I learned about the power of product operations by leading the consumer product team at at , a top-ranking app that relieves the stress of finding a parking spot. Previous to that, I ran the developer experience team at , a startup founded by Allstate

Interview & Talk Topics

Execution Won’t Stop. Strategy Will — Unless You Have a System.

Execution never slows. Backlogs grow, stakeholders multiply, and urgent requests crowd out the work that matters most. For product managers, strategy is often the first thing sacrificed — leaving you busy, but not necessarily effective.
This talk introduces a practical system for creating space for strategy. You’ll learn how to start with a piece of strategy, use it to say no to distractions, and design structures that make it visible in daily work. Each cycle frees up capacity, strengthens your influence with leadership, and compounds into the time and focus needed for bigger, more strategic bets.
Learning outcomes:

Bringing Shadow Product Operations Out of the Dark: Recognizing and Valuing Hidden Contributions

ven if no one at your company carries a “Product Operations” title, someone is doing the work to keep your product organization running smoothly. These people form your shadow product ops team — and when they operate in the dark, the work is harder, slower, and less effective.
In this talk, you’ll learn how to recognize, value, and formalize this hidden work. We’ll explore what product operations really looks like in practice, how to make it explicit, and how to design operating models that fit your organization’s stage and structure — whether or not you ever hire a dedicated product ops person.
Learning outcomes:

Uncovering Hidden Value: Crafting Optimal Product Pricing

Most teams leave value on the table — not because their product isn’t good enough, but because their strategy doesn’t fully reflect what customers truly value. This session helps you uncover the drivers behind customer decisions and turn them into strategic advantage, whether through pricing, positioning, or prioritization.
We’ll explore why perceived value matters more than cost, how positioning shapes willingness to pay, and how to connect value insight back to your overall product narrative.
