Growing up under the sunny skies of Bell Gardens, California.
I always felt a bit out of step with the laid-back vibes of the West Coast. It wasn’t until I moved to Atlanta that I truly found my rhythm. There, amidst the bustling cityscape, I spent my most formative years and came to claim Atlanta as my true home. Yet, my adventures didn't stop there. I also left footprints in the historic towns of Nashua, New Hampshire, and the windy streets of Chicago, Illinois, each place adding rich layers to my story.
As a young college student, I was drawn towards Fine Arts, enchanted by the boundless creativity and expression it offered. However, the intricate world of lending and finance caught my attention, revealing a different kind of artistry—the art of the deal. This unexpected fascination steered my career towards real estate, a field I have passionately embraced ever since. But my heart still beats for the creative arts, finding joy and fulfillment in the worlds of cosplay and sci-fi, where imagination knows no bounds.
My passion for sci-fi is profound, with films like Denis Villeneuve’s Dune and the classic Blade Runner captivating my imagination with their depth and visionary storytelling. These epics not only entertain but also inspire my creativity and perspective.
The soundtrack of my youth was dominated by the gritty guitars and poignant lyrics of '90s alternative rock, a genre that still pulses through my veins and has evolved into a deep appreciation for indie rock. Those days were golden, filled with the raw, electric energy of live concerts that seemed to echo the restless stirrings of my own heart.
As the eldest of three siblings and now a mother to a 21-year-old son who is just starting to carve out his own path, I’ve always understood the importance of roots and wings—holding on and letting go. But it's not just people that I nurture; my passions have found fertile ground in my hobbies. I’ve ventured into the vivid world of cosplay, where I channel my creativity into crafting intricate costumes that bring fantasy characters to life, and my solo travels have taken me from the quiet corners of art galleries to the bustling streets of far-off cities.
My love of stories, whether told through the strum of a guitar, the pages of a sci-fi novel, or the dialogue of a classic film, has been a constant companion. Yet, when the need for serenity grows, Lake Arrowhead’s tranquil embrace is my sanctuary. Here, surrounded by whispering woods, I recharge, though the vibrant energy of Los Angeles is never too far away. It calls me back with its siren song of urban nightlife and the warm smiles of family, bridging my two worlds.
Through the diverse chapters of my life, from rocking out to '90s anthems to exploring the silent beauty of nature, I’ve woven a rich tapestry that blends sounds, silences, and stories—a life that dances to the beat of introspection and connection. Fascinated by the advancements in AI, I often marvel at how the future I once read about in books is unfolding before my eyes, eagerly anticipating what tomorrow may bring.
