Career Overview:

I am in my 6th year of Product Management. I have worked on products that delivered personalization and dynamic content for a marketing email that was responsible for ~40% of annualized revenue, to ML Models that helped employees more effectively service tens of thousands of loan applications.
In a previous career, I consulted with corporate executives about their company-sponsored 401(k) plans. Assets under advisement on these plans were in the hundreds of millions.

Personal Overview:

I grew up in Southern Utah. Zion National Park (as featured in the cover photo) was my backyard. My wife and I met in high school. We have twin daughters, a son, and a labradoodle. In 2021, we moved from Utah to North Carolina for no other reason than for the sake of adventure.

Top 3 Career Accomplishments of Which I am Most Proud:

These are in no particular order.
When a business owner was planning to spend ~45k+ and ~6 months to build a product, I was able to help him build an MVP in Coda for less than $12 and in under 2 weeks. It gave him enough insight to make decisions for his business, and he saved a meaningful amount of money.
Consistency in writing and publishing weekly articles that help employees overcome inexperience. At over 55 published articles and growing, has brought hope to those who felt hopeless. To date, this reader’s response is still one of my proudest moments since its launch:

Persevering through an entire summer selling pest control services door-to-door in New Jersey, USA. It was one of the most difficult and uncomfortable 4 months of my life. While others quit and went home early, I pushed through and finished what I set out to complete. I wasn’t the top-performing sales rep, but I was just as resilient.

Top 3 Personal Accomplishments of which I am Most Proud:

In all honesty, starting and building a family is my top accomplishment (twin daughters and one son). However, that is probably the “expected” answer. So I will share my 3 non-family accomplishments. These are in no particular order.
Finished 18 of 960 participants, and 1st overall in my age division, in a Half Marathon. Source: .

Served 24 months as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hungary. Learning another language, especially Hungarian, was hard enough. But learning a language, to share a message that most people don’t want to listen to, was even harder. I proved to myself my resilience and perseverance.
Continually learning and improving my DIY home skills. Projects completed include:
Removing ~2,000 square feet of popcorn ceiling.
Replacing the trim around the floor, doors, and windows in a bedroom, adding window sills and board and batten, and painting the entire room.
Splitting the electrical line from a vanity light within a bathroom, and then rerouting each new wire behind the drywall to create two working sconces.
Building a 6’ round wooden dining room table that sits 8 adults comfortably.
Added wallpaper to multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.
