Neo is looking for a Recruiting Associate to support various recruiting efforts that will have a
and dozens of startups each year.

Your primary role will be to provide project and operational support for Startup Connect,
. You’ll manage an efficient and delightful candidate experience for hundreds of students. Outside of Startup Connect, you’ll also help support our ~50 portfolio companies and founders in building their amazing team such as sourcing, events and more. Depending on your experience and interests, your work will span recruitment, program management, and technical PMing.

This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious early career professional looking to uplevel your recruiting, operations, and program management skills. You love the excitement of owning many projects and moving parts ー and execute excellently on all of them! You’re excited about building relationships and community, and view recruiting as much more of long-term partnership rather than a one-time transaction.

We are a tiny team of 4, so you'll collaborate closely with everyone and play a pivotal role in Neo’s success. This is a full-time role based in San Francisco (whenever we get to go back to real life, of course).

🏋️‍♀️ What You’ll Do:

High-volume candidate management and interview coordination
Oversee efficient operations and tracking across various software tools
Help oversee relationships and task management with various high-growth startups
Help ensure Neo events run smoothly and build community among our ~300 members
Project management and program coordination for ad hoc initiatives (events, marketing, sourcing candidates, data entry)
Loves systems and new technology; you’re always figuring out how to make things more efficient

👀 What We’re Looking For:

Experience with university recruiting or recruiting coordination in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Significant experience with program or project management (ex: hackathon organizing, leadership role in school)
Experience with modern productivity software (Google Suite, Airtable, Notion)
Top-tier organization skills and scrupulous attention to detail
Results- and execution-oriented mindset: you’re a quick learner and a hustler, and you hunger for impact
Natural relationship and community builder: you love to interact with other and are genuine, thoughtful, and empathetic...but assertive when you need to be (spoiler alert: you’ll need to be)
Excitement about recruiting and helping companies hire awesome talent

🤓 Extra credit points for:
Experience building communities
Technical knowledge (CS major or minor, self-taught)
Interest in the business/operating side of venture capital
