About Chaser
Chaser is the brainchild of Jashan Rahal and James Lindfors, both Computer Science students at CSU Monterey Bay (CSUMB) who were inspired by their backgrounds and the lack of tech opportunities in their region. Both James and Jashan struggled to make connections and felt current apps promoted inorganic quick connections rather than actually focusing on human interests. They envisioned a platform that goes beyond traditional social media. Targeted at university students and young adults, Chaser combines features that facilitate genuine connections, community creation, and maintenance. Whether you are looking to make new friends, stay updated with activities, or join clubs and social events, Chaser has it all.
