With high-volume purchasing and the commitment of dedicated volunteers, SHARE offers groceries at a 50-percent discount.
SHARE food packages are available to anyone. There is no application, qualification, identification or documentation required to buy SHARE food packages.
Monthly value packages cost just $25 and include up to $50 worth of groceries. Each package contains four to six pounds of frozen protein items and eight to 12 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables. Seasonal groceries and desserts are often available.
The City of Hyattsville and Capital Area Food Bank are partnering for a monthly FREE fresh produce distribution on the third Tuesday of the month, at noon, at the First United Methodist Church of Hyattsville, 6201 Belcrest Road. Emergency food is available to residents, by providing a 3-day supply of staples and meats. To supplement pantry items, produce and other food distributions occur multiple times each month. The pantry is open each weekday from 9am – 5pm.
The Baden Food Pantry is located at St. Paul’s Episcopal Parish Hall in Baden on Wednesdays. The Accokeek Food Pantry is located at Faith United Methodist Church in Accokeek on Fridays. Our third pantry, Mission Nutrition, is held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Gwynn Park High School in Brandywine.
Galilee Baptist Church - Galilee Community Development Corporation
Food is distributed at the Shadyside location on Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 12 noon and 2:30 pm. Emergency distributions are made as needed.

Interfaith Community Action Council (ICAC) Oxon Hill Food Pantry
Food distribution happens on the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Please note that you must be registered and an approved applicant in order to receive food at that time.
LifeStyles food pantry offers emergency food for a three-day period. Households can receive assistance every 30 days. Larger food distributions are held periodically throughout the year in partnership with other local organizations. Food is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Food Pantry Mon-Thurs 9-2 and Fri 8-12 People can sign up and pick up groceries once a month. Unhoused individuals can come in for a hot meal 1-2 times a day
All food is provided to eligible individuals and families free of charge. Please call to get information and assistance within your particular area of the County.
The SEED Food Distribution Center provides emergency food weekly. Nutrition classes, fresh produce and diaper giveaways are held in partnership with the University of Maryland EFNEP, the Capital Area Food Bank and the DC Diaper Bank. Diaper recipients participate in SEED’s Family Financial Fitness Program and also receive one-on-one financial counseling from counselors approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) is an electronic system that allows a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) participant to pay for food using SNAP benefits.
The 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Thursday are inside and are with TEFAP food so they require a valid MD ID. The second Thursday is outside and not TEFAP, so there are no eligibility requirements.

Women, Infants, And Children (WIC)
WIC (Women, Infants and Children) is a federally-funded program that provides healthy supplemental foods and nutrition counseling and breastfeeding promotion/support for pregnant and postpartum women, infants and children under the age of five.
