First tip for cinematic: Proper makeup (e.g. dirt on face), layering costume (different color and textures), background as abandon location with debris, rubble, etc
Add 7 serial nodes:
5th node: apply Film look Lut: Rec709 Kodak 2383 D55
1st node: Reduce Exposure: In Wheel → Gamma -0.11
2nd node: Tune up shadow area: In Curve → bring up shadow part slightly, also fine tune middle and highlight part
3rd node: boost Saturation: Case dependent, if necessary
4th node: boost Secondary color contrast: In Log → e.g for yellowish brown look: Set shadow towrads blue, midtone towards yellow:
6th node: separate background from character: In Qualifier tool → Pick green plant in background in the scene (shift+H to see selection area), adjust by hue, satuation and denoise, clean black/white to mainly select background green area:
Go to Log tab → reduce Saturation to about 20
(problem with Qualifier tool, may mis-select what wanted/unwanted)
Preferred method: In Curve, Hue vs Sat, tune down green spectrum
7th node: Desaturate shadow part: Add Lum vs Sat curve, drop shadow part to 0: for nicer falloff (keep dark area purely black)
