Install apk files by SideQuest
Download SideQuest advanced version software (simple version install sidequest directly in headset, but less fucntion),
Open Sidequest, connect the headset, have to make the mode below as green:
Turn on Developer Mode on Oculus Quest 2
(May need to verify the account by credit card)
Remark:
Seems developer account on quest needs details organization verification from 31 May 2023:
Open Oculus apps in phone, turn on developer mode:
Restart the quest if needed
Reconnect the headset to PC, now should be asked to:
1) allow USB debugging in the headset
2) Allow access to data
If the 2 windows above not pop up:
first, make sure in headset, setting → system → developer, usb connection dialog is on :
If still not pop up,
second, try to install and update Oculus ADB driver:
unzip the package and right-click > Install the android_winusb.inf file on your PC.
Now if the sidequest doesn’t show yet the green mode, tap Open Setup instruction, see which status is not yet ready:

For some sideload required games:
See if in apps library in headset, find unknown sources contains anything (with numbers not 0 inside the bracket). If yes, it can sideload apps in the quest
Set Test user account by Developer account:
(Don’t open a new facebook account to connect to meta for testing, against their policy)
