New Comp: 5 sec, Black background
Create Cell:
Create New solid in Layer → New (OR Ctrl+Y), name as Cell 1 (if need to revise the solid: Ctrl+Shift+Y)
Create a mask circle by Ellipse Tool → Effect: Turbulent Displace, Drag in the circle →
In Turbulent menu, Amount: 25, Size: 40, Hold Alt and press stopwatch at Evolution, Type time*200 (for shaking movement)
Duplicate Cell 1, name as Cell 2 →Position them partically overlap to each other → Precomp them name as Cell Home
Create Outer Membranes:
In Cell Home comp, add following Effects →
1.Gaussian Blur, Blurriness: 220;
2.Levels, Channel: Alpha, adjust on histogram till the cell outer edge not so blur, i.e. a even alpha effect
3.Fill, Color: Black
Layer (top bar)→ Layer Styles → Inner Glow: In its parameter (show in timeline, boost size to 45, opacity down to 30%, Color, white)
4.Turbulent Noise, Contrast: 400; Brightness: -60; Type script at Evolution as time*50
5. CC Vector Blur, Amount: 120; Ridge Smoothness: 20; Map Softness: 10
6.Glow, Glow Threshold: 0%; Glow Radius: 80; Glow Intensity: 2; Glow Colors: A&B Colors; Change Color A, B box to the color I want
Change Mode to Screen (don’t see effect coz of black background, will be seen after compositing)
Precomp Cell Home, name as Outer Membrane
Create nucleus and combine with outer membrane:
Rename Cell Home layer as Nucleus, Rename Comp 1 as Final Composition →
Drag Nucleus Comp above Outer Membrane Comp in this Final comp
In Nucleus layer, add Effects:
1.Simple Choker, Choke Matte:100 → Duplicate 3 more Simple Choker (choker 1,2,3,4) (to choke the nucleus size smaller)
2.Gaussian Blur, Blurriness: 75
3.Levels, Alpha (set histogram same as before)
4. Turbulent Noise, Contrast: 600; Brightness: 50, Evolution: time*25
5. CC Vector Blur, Amount: 150
6. Glow, Threshold: 10%, Radius: 80, choose A&B Colors, select wanted Colors
Set Nucleus layer Mode as Screen too
Set Position of Cells referencing by Nulls between Final Comp and Cell Home Comp:
Precomp Nucleus and Outer Membrane layers, name as Composite Composition
In Final Composition comp, create 2 Nulls, name as Left Cell, Right Cell → Pancake timeline it with Cell Home Comp
→ In Cell Home comp →
Place Cell 1 & 2 overlapping completely in centre of frame (use Grid tool help, and copy paste Position of 2 cells)
Open Cell 1 and 2 Position (P), Drag Parent Cell 1 Position to Left Cell Position, Cell 2 to Right Cell
In Final Composition, Create keyframes animation for Right Cell and Left Cell Nulls → Select those keyframes
→ Smoothen Keyframes in Graph, apply Ease in/out.
Stylize Final Composition:
In Final Comp layer, Add New Solid, name as Red Detail, put on top → Apply following Effect:
Turbulent Noise , Contrast: 800, Brightness: -80
Tint, Map White to Red color
Gaussian Blur, Blurriness: 30
Set Transparent Mode to Screen. Drag the layer below the Cells
Duplicate the Red Detail layer, name as Blue Detail →
Tint color set to Blue, Evolution 0x130 degree (not fully cover the red detail layer)
Create a Purple background solid layer, drag at the most bottom layer
Still in Final Composition comp,
Apply CC Glass effect in Compositing Composition layer → Surface → Softness: 24; Height: 50, Displacement: -100 →
Apply Glow effect, Color A,B select blue color, Threshold: 85; Radius: 104; Intensity: 1.8
Duplicate blue detail layer, fine tone Blurriness, Evolution angle, and Scale up the whole layer to 150%
Layer → New → Adjustment Layer → Add Curve Effect → adjust RGB and blue curve as follow:
Fine tone different layers effects...( 21:50 - 26:36 )
In Composite Composition layer, Outer Membrane → Inner Glow: Opacity: 80%, Color change to blue (effect apply to the outer membrane edge)
Create new Solid Red layer name as Red Light Leak (use deep red color) → Create Rectangle Tool Mask, Place as below and Set Mode as Add, Mask Feather boost to 900 →
Duplicate the layer and name as Blue Light Leak, change the color to blue (Shift+Ctrl+Y) → Rotation: 0+180 degree → Reduce both Leak layers Opacity
