3D Tiles from Google Map
Intro:
Tutorial:
After Enable Cesium plugin, add Sunsky and 3D Tiles Tileset:
In 3D Tile set, add URL containg Google Map API key
In credential, search word map tile api
enable the api
Back to creditinal page, click show key and copy the link
In UE page.
Tick show Credits on Screen, paste the URL by the format below:
replace MapsAPIKey with your Google Maps API key:
https://tile.googleapis.com/v1/3dtiles/root.json?key=MapsAPIKey
P.S. Need to include = before the API key
Click Refresh Tileset
Add Dynamic Pawn and Terrian, Aerial map after connect to Cesium ion
Click on Cesium Geo Reference , details:
Use Google Earth to check the location altitude (North-South) and longtitude (East-West) value
P.S. If going to south hemisphere, the map will be up side down
Go to Geo reference and click place georeference origin here
Increase quality of the mesh in map:
In 3D Tileset, level of detail:
the smaller number of max screen space error, the better quality it is
