These are 6 little words that make college coaches want you badly. If you’ve been in the recruiting process for any amount of time or your kid has been in the recruiting process, then you know that conversations with college coaches are really where the gold is. It’s incredibly challenging to get scholarship offers if you’re not great at conversing with college coaches. It’s sort of like they have their own little language and if you’re not fluent in that language, then it’s really hard to get the opportunities that you want. But here’s what you gotta understand about college coaches. They don’t recruit players that they want for their program. What they actually do is recruit players based on the positions and graduation classes that they need. In your email to college coaches, the 6 little words you need to include are “Do you need a” and then include your position and grad class.
