Sick Pay In each calendar year (inclusive of your statutory sick pay entitlement) your enhanced sick pay entitlement will be:

basic salary for the first 10 days of aggregate absence;

after this, you’ll receive 50% of your basic salary for the next 30 days of aggregate absence

Unum income protection insurance This is income replacement benefit helps if you're unable to work for an extended period of time due to an illness or injury. This benefit typically kicks in after you have been off sick for more than 8 weeks, hopefully helping to relieve money worries at a difficult time. Up to 50% of basic salary is paid out to you via payroll. You'd still need to contribute standard PAYE amounts and taxes. Unum help you achieve a safe and sustainable return to work. Unum life assurance When life is going well, it’s easy not to think about more difficult times. Having life assurance means that iwoca can help provide some peace of mind and a tax-free lump sum for an employee's loved ones in the event of an untimely death. The benefit is equivalent to four times your basic salary. All eligible employees (aged 75 and below) enjoy this benefit, from the start to the end of their tenure at iwoca.
