Come extern at TestBox!

About us
Here at TestBox, we’re building the first ever Customer-Led software buying platform. Earlier last year, we were featured in
. You’ll be working alongside our founding team members to build this category-defining solution with us.
, the CEO, and
, Chief of Staff, both worked at Bain previously.

TestBox empowers customers to experience enterprise software products side by side as if they were already implemented in their own environment. (Think, test drive before you buy, without all of the sales calls and demos and logistical overhead.)

We are a ~10 person team and growing quickly (we’re hiring for a few new roles right now). The Biz Ops team will be led by Isabella, and you will be one of the first members of the team!

Here’s a quick video walkthrough of TestBox today:

Why we’re an amazing place to extern
You’ll be working closely with both Isabella and Sam – we know exactly what's in your professional toolkit and we’re excited for you to hit the ground running on day one and to give you lots of ownership and space to experiment and develop
Externs are a core part of our team and culture;
, an extern from Bain San Francisco
, stood up our GTM efforts and led our Customer Support function in his time here
We’re growing really quickly and tackling different challenges each week – you’ll get a lot of insight into different topics, build lots of new skills, and have the chance to raise your hand to go deep in areas that you are most interested in
We’re building an amazing culture around DEIB, wellness, and being able to bring our full selves to work (we have unlimited PTO, mental health benefits, and we really care about each person on the team)
We are a really fun team (we have weekly happy hours, monthly fun events such as murder mysteries, paint night, chocolate tasting, etc.)
We’re fully distributed so work from wherever you’d like! (This is the time to try out that digital nomad life)
We’re growing our team very quickly and would love to have you here full-time if you have a great externship and are excited to stay

Some examples of what you’ll get to work on
Strategizing and building out our partnerships with vendors whose products we incorporate into TestBox
Operationalizing our partnerships process – putting structure around how we manage partnerships in the day-to-day in a way that is efficient, effective, and scalable
Pricing and strategy for future product areas built off of core TestBox
Financial modeling of TestBox sales and budget
Building a thoughtful and deliberate team culture from the ground up, from refining our org structure and processes to defining the “TestBox” approach, building the annual team survey, and crafting a Professional Development program for the team
Leading special projects and initiatives, whether it’s defining our approach to Customer Support and Success and building out that function, a deep-dive into analyzing specific metrics, conducting research into new software categories for us to expand, or supporting the rest of the TestBox team on various priorities

What you’ll learn
How to wear a number of different hats, particularly since Biz Ops will own a number of new initiatives at TestBox before handing them off to others on the team to own once we get things off the ground
Which functions you’re most excited about and which ones you might find less enticing
