An interview with Justyna focussing on hiring talent in Eastern Europe
She’s focussing on a really interesting bunch of countries in that region & think there’s lots of scope for growth for us there
Why cross-border ESOPS can't work
It’s a problem competitors claim to solve and is losing us (a few) customers. Some more context - when we explained why Papaya was likely non-compliant to Stark, we got this outcome (note: so this post is likely to help us win customers over competition): Switching EoR step by step guide/webinar
There's a growing number of co’s signed up to our competitors that may be open to switching to us, but who might feel it's more trouble than it's worth. We could outline in an article why you might consider switching (and name some things we know are weaknesses of competition but strengths of ours), and explain how easy it is to switch to Boundless.
For a webinar, involve a customer
Should I be worried about using an EoR / PEO?
I think this is probably something that people search, so we should capture these searches. Great opportunity to explain why we’re different.
Maybe we can figure out what gets more searches: its it this term, or is it is something like ‘What’s the problem with EoRs’ ??
How do I know if my EoR is compliant?
Opportunity for us to highlight issues w other EoRs & explain why we're different. It's likely that people considering signing up to an EoR, or who move into a new role & inherit EoR contracts search for info on this
Permanent Establishment in Poland
An explainer on why does Boundless cuts employment at 18 months in Poland. Would be great to reference the laws that guided our legal advice to this decision to validate the blog. In countries where we have time limitations, I find external validity is support helpful gaining trust/disproving competitors’ workaround. I share this for . Alternatively we could just add this into the Guide for Poland under the Employment Solution section Salary benchmarking tools
We have had questions from customers on how to benchmark salaries in a country that they are looking to start employing or that an employee is looking to relocate to. We could suggest some benchmarking sites. I’m aware of Payscale and Glassdoor. Not sure if they’re the best options.
Explainer on the Digital Nomad movement
The Digital Movement trend is becoming more mainstream. An explainer on what it is and how Boundless can support it.
How to support/manage employee relocation.
A post to address supporting employee relocation, but also addressing questions about possible liability if something goes awry in the process
Dealing with unexpected tax increases
(Added by Dee, 19 Jun 2024)
A blog post that explains how some local tax authorities give very little notice on increases. Idea for this is driven by issues we have with Brazil - customers get v frustrated that they find out about cost increases at v short notice, but we get v little notice. It would be super helpful to have this to share with new customers at onboarding, to manage their expectations.
Potentially this should be specifically Brazil-focussed (or we could do one version solely talking about Brazil - this is a general frustration for anyone with people there, so likely to get picked up by v top-of-funnel people) and another with some examples from some other countries (I think this happens in France too; payroll team will be able to contribute info)
