KPI Systems

Here are several systems and frameworks that attempt to measure various aspects of life and well-being, similar to the concept of a "life score" model. While they may not be exact equivalents to NBA statistics, they provide comprehensive approaches to evaluating different life domains:
OECD Better Life Index: This interactive tool allows users to compare well-being across countries based on 11 topics considered essential to quality of life, including housing, income, jobs, community, education, environment, civic engagement, health, life satisfaction, safety, and work-life balance
.
Care Journey's Provider Performance Index: Although focused on healthcare providers, this system demonstrates how performance can be quantified across multiple dimensions. It uses a five-point scale for both Cost and Outcomes, providing a model for how complex performance metrics can be simplified and compared
.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): The Measure-Perform-Review-Adapt (MPRA) framework, developed by the Balanced Scorecard Institute, offers a systematic approach to developing and implementing KPIs. This methodology could be adapted to create a comprehensive life score system
.
Joint Commission's Performance Measurement: While specific to healthcare, this system showcases how standardized performance measures can be developed and implemented across various domains, potentially serving as a model for a broader life score system
.
Health System Performance Frameworks: Various countries have developed comprehensive frameworks to assess their health systems, incorporating multiple dimensions such as effectiveness, efficiency, safety, and quality. These frameworks demonstrate how complex systems can be evaluated using multidimensional approaches
.
While these systems don't provide a single "life score," they illustrate how multiple aspects of life and performance can be measured, compared, and visualized. These existing frameworks could potentially be adapted or combined to create a more comprehensive life score model that addresses the criteria of career and work, personal health, and social engagement.
