Why Pray?
Prayer is powerful. God hears the cries of the oppressed and responds with justice. As we seek to end violence and exploitation, we must be people who pray—lifting up survivors, IJM staff, and advocates around the world.
Integrating Prayer into your IJM Chapter
Pray as Leaders: Make prayer a regular part of your leadership meetings. Host Prayer Events: Organize prayer events or vigils—on campus or with local churches—to unite your community in prayer. Partner with Churches: Invite nearby churches to pray regularly for justice and specific IJM cases. Create a Prayer Wall: At events or meetings, share survivor stories from IJM’s website or YouTube. Provide paper and pens for students to write prayers and post them on a wall as a visual act of solidarity. Prayer Resources
